Hi there, there´s a new TF2 mode on its way

Looking forward to try that map.

Cool! They should totally make an escort the V.I.P one, picking players at random to be V.I.P.

Old TFC actually had an "escort the VIP" map.
I actually loved it but it became unpopular for a series of reasons:

1) The VIP was armed with only an umbrella, and nobody wanted to play the VIP

2) There were class restrictions: the escort was formed by soldiers only, bad guys were all snipers. No other classes were available.

3) If you died you had to wait for the end of the round.

There must have been different versions of the VIP maps then. The one I remember allowed heavies and medics as well as soldiers, and you could respawn as much as you wanted. (if they remade this gameplay mode, spies would be a great addition to the assassin team)

Anyway, looking forward to this new gameplay mode, as well as the weapon unlockables.
